Hello from Tennant Creek

Internet access has been sporadic, so most of our updates will probably appear later in out trip when we are at Airlie Beach. We are in Tennant Creek right now, enjoying the mild evening 19 degrees minimum. Everyone is still travelling well and enjoying our trip. We are all looking forward to spending a few days in Lawn Hill National Park in the next few days, and just staying in the one place for a few days.

We have covered a lot of kilometres so far, and taken a lot of photographs, so as time permits there will be more on here to show you what we have been up to.

Until then...

    Hello everybody,

    Lisa and Casey here.

Terrific to hear from you and glad to hear you are all seeing some spectacular sights in the outback. Back in Jerra things have been wet, wet, wet. Just sending a short comment initially so as we can test whether or not this message has been received.

Hi Whites, sounds like you are having a great trip so far. Hi Kelly, sorry I haven't been able to talk to you I have been stuck doing a project for school. You are so lucky the week after you left we got the project. The weather has been acting kind of good and we have gone out to sport every day this week. For our last netball game we played mixed up positions. I played Centre and Goal Shooter. Are you having fun roaming the country? Missing you from Casey.

  3. Dear Holly,
Hi, this is 3/4B your class Holly. We received your postcard, thanks for sending it. We hope you are having a great time and are writing this together to you in front of our new whiteboard. When you come back Rahiri thinks you should go on detention for making faces out the back of the bus you naughty things! Has anything unusual happened while you've been away? We are sure much has happened and you are having the trip of a lifetime. From 3/4B

    Hi again Whites,
It sounds like you are having a great time so far I absolutely adore the picture of Ayers rock. You are so lucky to be traveling Australia in the warm weather. The sun has finally decided to shine so its getting warmer here in Jerra but still a bit windy. Kelly you are so lucky to be away from school for so long, the work is getting harder its terrible. By the way have you finished your workload from Mrs Harradence yet or have you been flattening the grass with handstands and cartwheels?Anyway We hope you are all having fun.

    From Casey

  6. Hi Hayley,
Your trip sounds amazing! Back in Jerra we won the grand final against Waratah! It was awesome! Bonus Mrs Murray came to watch. Don't worry though Sally has your trophy.
The weather was beautiful today it was 19. We got a pen and a little toy Bilby from MS readathon. Have you seen any real Bilby's?

Hi Kelly its the last week of school. Hooray My family and I will be leaving on Tuesday the 22 of September to New Zealand. The whole class is starting to misbehave and be naughty. Is the weather nice? I hope so, It is slowly starting to get warmer but there is still a bit of a breeze. Guess what? We got homework on the last week of school Some people say they aren't going to do it but others say they will because the holidays are coming up and they get two weeks off and don't have to do homework. I hope the weather is being good to you and that you are having a great time. We are all really missing you and hope you are still going strong. Missing you heaps From Casey
